"Simulacra & Simulacrum" is made using bent clear acrylic sheet that is etched with Binary code that depicts A.I. generated neural patterns. It investigates abstract subjects such as "What is Reality?", "What is an Original?" and "Is Free Will an Illusion?" which fall under the umbrella of Simulation Hypothesis: the idea that reality is a simulation. The use of artificial materials and computer generated imagery contrasts with the organic form of the sculpture, implying that reality as experienced has artificial roots.
