Properties

"Properties" is an installation portrays the fluidity of wood as a material. Wood comes from trees which grow over time. Wood also moves over time simply because of the ambient moisture in air. It distorts, warps and in extreme cases, cracks. This sculpture is inspired by this movement of wood and the juxtaposition between wood as a rigid material vs. wood as an ever changing material.
